This s'mores dip takes everything you love about a campfire treat and turns it into a warm, gooey dip you can share with a crowd. Instead of a plain chocolate bar, this version is loaded with Reese's peanut butter cups, so every scoop is melty, chocolatey, and a little bit peanut buttery in the best way. It's made and baked right in a cast iron skillet, which toasts the marshmallows golden on top while the peanut butter cups melt into a rich, dippable layer underneath, ready to scoop up with graham crackers. It's an easy dessert that comes together in one pan with just a handful of ingredients, perfect for parties, game day, or any night you're craving something sweet and gooey.

Ingredients
Butter: You can use salted or unsalted butter or even Imperial Margarine sticks.
Reese's peanut butter cups: We used only regular-sized Reese's peanut butter cups. Miniature Reese's cups may also be used, but you will need a lot more.
Marshmallows: be sure to use regular large marshmallows (not mini marshmallows or jumbo ones).
Graham Crackers: These are used to dip into the s'mores dip. I recommend you use honey graham crackers or chocolate graham crackers for best results.
How to make easy Cast Iron S'mores Dip with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups recipe
- Slice the butter into 3-4 slices and place inside the cast iron skillet. Place the skillet in a cool oven. Preheat to 400ºF. While the oven is preheating, unwrap the Reese's peanut butter cups and open the bag of marshmallows.

- Once the oven is preheated, carefully remove the skillet from the oven and stir the butter until it's completely melted. Add the peanut butter cups to the bottom of the pan in a single layer,

then add the marshmallows on top of the peanut butter cups, flat side up.
- Turn the oven to low broil and place the s'mores dip back in the oven until the tops of the marshmallows turn golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and enjoy hot with graham crackers.

Substitutions & variations
You can use regular-size, miniature, or chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in this s'mores dip. Mini cups melt especially well and make it easy to spread the peanut butter and melted chocolate flavor throughout the skillet.
If you want even more peanut butter flavor, add a few spoonfuls of peanut butter between the chocolate and marshmallow layers. You could also scatter Reese's Pieces over the dip before or after baking for extra crunch.

You can replace some or all of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups with Hershey's chocolate bars, milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, or dark chocolate. For a different candy-bar version, try chopped Snickers, Rolos, or another chocolate candy that melts well.
Graham crackers are the classic choice for dipping, but pretzels, vanilla wafers, shortbread cookies, strawberries, apple slices, or chocolate graham crackers are all delicious options.
For an extra sweet-and-salty version, sprinkle a little flaky sea salt over the finished dip. You can also add chopped peanuts or crushed pretzels before serving.
Cook's Tips
Do not leave the oven while this is under the broiler. You have to watch it the entire time, or at least peek on it every 30-60 seconds to ensure the marshmallows don't burn. Use your oven's light rather than opening the door each time.
You can make this in a bigger or smaller cast iron pan. Simply adjust the ingredients up or down as needed. Individual dips in 4-inch cast iron pans would also be really nice.

Storing leftovers
This recipe does not save well. For best results, finish it while it's still warm from the oven.
