These air fryer s'mores give you all the gooey, melty goodness of a campfire treat without ever leaving the kitchen, and swapping in a Reese's peanut butter cup instead of a plain chocolate bar takes them over the top. In just a few minutes, the marshmallow turns soft and toasty, the peanut butter cup melts into every crack of the graham cracker, and you've got a perfect s'more with none of the smoke, mess, or waiting around for coals. They're an easy year round treat that comes together with just three simple ingredients, so you can satisfy that campfire craving any night of the week. Kids love helping build them, and they disappear just as fast as the classic version.

Why this is the best Air Fryer S'mores recipe
These s'mores are quick and easy. These air fryer s'mores give you that classic campfire treat in just a few minutes, without building a fire or even turning on the oven.
Air fryer s'mores use simple ingredients. All you need are graham crackers, marshmallows, and peanut butter cups or chocolate bars, so there is a good chance you already have everything in your pantry.
The marshmallows get warm, gooey, and lightly toasted while the chocolate melts underneath. You get the familiar combination of crisp graham crackers, creamy chocolate, and soft toasted marshmallow in every bite.
Air fryer s'mores are great for any time of year. Air fryer s'mores are an easy dessert for rainy days, sleepovers, family movie nights, or anytime you're craving s'mores but don't have the time or inclination to build a campfire. They're so easy, you will want to make them every night! (You've been warned!)

What you'll need to make the best Air Fryer S'mores
Equipment

See the printable recipe card at the bottom of the page for all measurements and nutritional information.
Ingredients
Graham Crackers: be sure to use regular-size honey graham crackers.
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups: be sure to use regular-sized Reese's cups, not the Big Cups or the minis. You can also use a quarter of a Hershey bar for more traditional tasting s'mores.
Marshmallows: use regular sized marshmallows (not mini or jumbo).
How to make easy Air Fryer S'mores
- Place one half of 4 graham crackers, with a marshmallow on top of each, in the air fryer, using an air fryer liner for easier cleanup if desired.

- Air fry, on the bake setting if you have one, at 385℉ for 3-4 minutes, watching the whole time to ensure the marshmallows do not fall off the crackers.

- Once the marshmallows are golden and toasty, remove from the air fryer with a spatula.

Add a Reese's cup
and the other half of the graham cracker on top of each marshmallow. Press down slightly, and enjoy!

Cook's Tips
Be careful handling the s'mores, as the marshmallows will be extremely hot.
Keep an eye on the marshmallows in the air fryer the best you can, or peek on them every 30-60 seconds, to make sure they are still on top of the graham cracker halves.
Feel free to use any melty chocolate in your s'mores. We like the peanut butter cups, but you could also use a quarter of a Hershey bar or another kind of chocolate.
S'mores can also be made in the oven. See those instructions here.

Substitutions & variations
You can use milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or semi-sweet chocolate depending on how sweet you like your s'mores. We used peanut butter cups, but chocolate bars are the classic option. Even chocolate chips or other chocolate candies can work too. (Rolos maybe?)
Try swapping the regular graham crackers for chocolate graham crackers or cinnamon graham crackers. You could also use thin cookies in place of the graham crackers for a different flavor and texture.
For an extra-rich s'more, spread a little peanut butter on the graham cracker before adding the marshmallow. If you're using a plain chocolate bar, you could also do a little smear of Nutella or cookie butter. This would also help the marshmallows to stick to the graham crackers better.
You can also replace the peanut butter cup with regular chocolate, caramel-filled chocolate, or another favorite chocolate candy. For a fun variation, add thinly sliced strawberries or bananas after the s'mores come out of the air fryer.
Storing leftovers
These do not store well. Enjoy while warm!
