I looooove this green bean recipe. It’s my absolute favorite way to eat them, and it’s very easy.
Oriental Green Beans
Steam beans until just tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
While beans are cooking, combine soy sauce, oil, and sugar. Set aside.
Preheat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, stirring constantly until soft, 20 to 30 seconds. Add green beans, stirring constantly about 2 minutes.
Add soy sauce mixture. Continue to cook and stir until most of the liquid is absorbed, 1 to 2 minutes.
If your family is anything like mine, you should make a double batch. It’s that good.
