New Here

Are you new to Feels Like Home?

The Feels like Home blog is divided into eight sections:

  • My Life: My own personal (typically embarrassing and funny) stories
  • Cooking: My favorite recipes & kitchen tips, often explained so that anyone with a stove could make them
  • Family: Parenting & family advice (often in the shape of my foibles)
  • Home Management: Keeping your home running smoothly (usually in environmentally-friendly ways)
  • Crafts: Crafts, sewing & other project tutorials
  • Good Health: My path to healthier living – physically, emotionally, and mentally
  • Homeschool: What we're reading and learning and doing during school time
  • Product reviews & giveaways: Products and offers I think are really great

  1. Came through the UBP and enjoyed reading about you and your children. I teach at a homeschool tutorial in MD, and before that taught at a Christian school in SC. Keep up the great work. I follow on Twitter, FB and Stumble.

  2. Thank you for this blog, it is exactly what I needed at this time of disappointment. I was hoping and believing for a job that was given to someone else. I am unemployed at this time. Jeremiah 29:11 is the scripture that touched me the most.

  3. I really enjoyed the article and all the biblical references in regards to hopelessness I was able to use it read it and send it to a friend who was feeling that way at the time I think that it helped her a lot and it helped me at the same time enjoyed it so much I definitely will be returning to your website
