I am a word nerd. You might have guessed, being that I've published over 2,000 posts on this little blog of mine.
Also, I have 2 tattoos which are quotes from books (and more specifically, from Harry Potter books) and 2 more which are words that mean something to me.
Words are in my heart and soul, and I hope that my kids feel the same way.
What follows are 10 pretty graphics that you can print out and hang in your house to remind you and your kids of your values in the world. They're about things like love and prayer and God, and if you let them permeate your heart, they will change you for the better.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)
Don't forget to play!
Do not pass by a man in need, for you may be the hand of God to him. (Proverbs 3:27)
Don't say yes because it's hard to say no.
People will forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel. (Maya Angelou)
Dream big dreams. Pray big prayers.
If you can't feed one hundred people, then just feed one. (Mother Theresa)
The Lord is with you, valiant warrior! (Judges 6:12)
It always seems impossible until it is done. (Nelson Mandela)
Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it. (Maya Angelou)
I hope you have enjoyed these graphics.
