Homemade White Pizza with Spinach, Onion, and Mushrooms
How to make the best white pizza with spinach, onions, and mushrooms - This recipe uses a homemade dough and ranch dressing to make a thick and crispy crust. Easy to make with lots of garlic and fresh veggies.
1cupsspinachfresh, coarsely shredded or sliced into ribbons
1mediumonionsliced into thin rounds
¼cupsBlack olivessliced
2cupsmozzarella cheeseShredded
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400º. If your stone requires preheating, do that now.
Unroll dough on stone; starting at center, press dough into a large circle or rectangle, depending on the shape of your stone.
Use a garlic press to spread garlic onto uncooked dough. Try to have an even layer of garlic over the whole pizza.
Prebake the crust for 10 minutes or until the crust is just beginning to turn golden on top.
Spread ranch evenly over garlic, leaving a small edge with no sauce. Note that you may not need the full ½ cup of ranch. It's best to err on the dry side than the wet side because too much sauce will make your pizza soggy.
Top ranch with chicken (if using), spinach, mushrooms, olives, and onion, then cheese.
Bake for 13 to 16 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
