Easy Layered Fruit Salad with Yogurt Dressing Recipe
This layered fruit salad combines fresh cantaloupe, crisp apples, mandarin oranges, and grapes with a sweet vanilla yogurt dressing and a sprinkle of granola on top. It comes together in fifteen minutes with no cooking required, and it's always a hit at potlucks, brunches, and family dinners.

Instructions
Core and chop the apples. Toss the chopped apple in a tablespoon or two of lemon juice or lemon-lime pop to prevent browning. If you're in a pinch, orange juice will work, too. Place the chopped apples in the bottom of a trifle bowl.
Add the rest of the fruit, the nuts, and the marshmallows, one kind at a time, keeping it in even layers.
When you get to the top, spoon yogurt over the whole thing. It will fall down into the crannies and crevices, and it will be beautiful.
To serve, sprinkle the top with granola. If you add the granola too soon, it will get soggy.
Notes
If you don't have a trifle bowl (or a similar tall glass bowl), you could just mix everything together. It tastes the same, but it's not as pretty. We love to add different kinds of melon - whatever we can find at the grocery store. Strawberries or blueberries add some color. Kiwi and pineapple add a tartness. Peaches are wonderful when they're in season. Are you getting the idea? You can add as much or as little as you like.
