Learn how to make an awesome Air Fryer Ribeye Steak that's juicy, tender, and full of deep beefy flavor in less than 30 minutes with only 5 ingredients.Pair it with a crisp salad or a side vegetable of your choice.
Blot the ribeye steak with paper towels to remove excess moisture and ensure better browning. Brush steak with olive oil so it is well coated on both sides. Let rest for 15 minutes at room temperature.
In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and steak seasoning. Rub the steaks evenly with this spice mixture, coating all surfaces for a flavorful and well-seasoned result.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This will provide the optimal temperature for crispiness on the ribeye steaks. Carefully place the seasoned ribeye steaks into the preheated air fryer basket, being careful not to overload it and to ensure proper air circulation. For medium rare steaks, cook them for 10-12 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time. The cooking time can be adjusted according to the desired degree of doneness. (See note below)
Using a meat thermometer, check the internal temperature of the steaks. For medium rare, the temperature should be 135°F (57°C). Remember that the temperature will rise slightly as the steaks rest.
When the ribeye steaks are cooked through, remove them from the fryer and let them rest for a few minutes. This will allow the juices to be redistributed, ensuring juiciness and flavor. Slice the ribeye steaks against the fibers and serve immediately.
Notes
Cook your boneless ribeye steak for:
7-9 minutes for medium-rare
10-12 minutes for medium
13-14 minutes for well done (A well-done steak is typically dried out and chewy, so please don't do this to your expensive piece of meat.)
