Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a large cast iron pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for for 30 seconds, then stir in the tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, oregano, sugar, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Simmer pasta sauce over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Add the gnocchi and cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Top with the sliced mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni slices.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
