Ingredients

  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 ounces
  • cups milk
  • 10 Oreo cookies crushed
  • 30 gummy worms

Instructions

  • Place one gummy worm at the bottom of each popsicle mold and set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the pudding mix and milk together until combined. Stir the crushed Oreos into the pudding mixture. Don't let the mixture sit or it will get thick, and it will be harder to fill the molds.
  • Quickly fill each popsicle well halfway with the pudding mixture, then take the mold and tap it on the counter to help remove any air bubbles. Push another gummy worm into each well. Continue to fill the popsicle molds almost to the top, then add the last of the gummy worms to each well. Tap the mold on the tabletop to settle all the pudding down.
  • Cover and push the popsicle sticks into the molds.
  • Place the molds into the freezer for at least 6 hours to harden.
  • To serve, run the bottom of the molds under warm water to help release them from the sides of the molds. Place the popsicles in a zippered freezer bag and store them in the freezer.

Notes

You will need popsicle molds for this recipe, and silicone molds work best. If you use a rigid popsicle mold like the one in the photos, it will be really hard to get the pudding pops to release. The easiest way to get them out is to run hot water over the bottoms of the mold for just a few seconds then squeeze the mold gently to push the pops up.
Your pudding may begin to set up as you fill the mold, and this is totally okay. Just use a spoon to fill the wells anyway, and use the spoon to push the pudding down into the well if you need to.
If you don't like chocolate, you can use vanilla pudding and either the chocolate or blond Oreos. They are different but still really tasty.
