  • Prepare pasta according to package directions, cooking to almost al dente but still firm. Drain and rinse with cold water until pasta is cool. Set aside.
  • Whisk all other ingredients (except egg) together in a mixing bowl. I measure the Miracle Whip, mayo, sugar, and vinegar, and I eyeball everything else. Mix well.
  • Pour the sauce over the pasta, add the diced egg, and toss to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least one hour to overnight.

Notes

The best way to hard boil the eggs is using an Instant Pot or these boiling directions. To use an Instant Pot, simply cook the eggs on high pressure for 5 minutes, natural release for 5 minutes then quick release, and then 5 minutes in an ice bath. They will be easy to peel.
