Garlic Penne with Chicken and Mushrooms

  • 1 pound chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup garlic sauce or 3-4 cloves garlic in 1-2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 10 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup onions chopped
  • 1 pound penne pasta (we use the Barilla Plus brand but use whatever you like)


  • Saute the chicken, chicken stock, mushrooms, onions, and garlic sauce for ten minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  • In the meantime, cook pasta according to package directions and drain.
  • Mix pasta with other ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
