Hot & Tangy Home Fries - A Quick & Unique Fried Potato Side Dish

Crispy home fries are a go-to side dish for breakfast or dinner. Nothing says comfort food like the savory home cooked goodness of pan fried potatoes!

  • 3 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic pressed
  • 2 Anaheim hot peppers seeds and membranes removed, diced
  • 2 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • cup Seasoned rice vinegar Original or Roasted Garlic flavor
  • 3 tablespoons water


  • Cut potatoes into ½-inch cubes. Place in a large bowl with onions, garlic, peppers, cumin, coriander, and salt.
  • Melt butter in a very large skillet. Cook potatoes over medium-high heat for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring often and scraping browned bits from the pan.
  • Add vinegar and water. Continue to cook an additional 4 to 6 minutes, until liquid is absorbed and potatoes are tender.
