Sausage Sandwiches with Onions and Mushrooms

Ingredients

mild Italian sausages
low sodium
olive oil
Extra virgin
1
large
onion
sliced into rings
1
pounds
sliced mushrooms
1
jar
spaghetti sauce
4
hot dog buns
we had gluten-free ones from Udi's
Instructions
Heat a little olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the sausages for a few minutes, until they begin to brown.
Add the onions and stir occasionally until the onions are translucent.
Add the mushrooms and the sauce. Cook until the mushrooms are your desired tenderness.
Serve each sausage in a bun, topped with lots of onions and mushrooms.
