Crunchy Apple Crisp without Oats

This old fashioned crunchy apple crisp recipe uses simple ingredients and no oats to make a rich, sweet dessert with a perfect for any meal.

  • Arrange apples in a 9x9 or similarly sized round baking dish. Pour water over apples and then sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Stir in flour and blend until the dough has a paste-like consistency. Spread crust over top of the apples in the baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until brown on top.
