Peppermint Hot Chocolate
This quick and easy peppermint hot chocolate is almost too easy to call a recipe. Using pre-made hot cocoa mix and a secret ingredient, you can make a rich and creamy drink that everyone will love.
Ingredients
- Boiling water
- Hot chocolate mix (my mom makes a great homemade mix, but I bought some)
- mini marshmallows
- Peppermint Mocha non-dairy creamer
- Vanilla vodka or peppermint schnapps optional
- Candy cane unwrapped
Instructions
- Pour boiling water into a large mug until the mug is about ¾ full. Empty a packet of hot cocoa into the water. Add a handful of mini marshmallows. Stir until the cocoa mix is dissolved.
- Pour in 2 tablespoons of creamer (and 1 ounce of alcohol, if you're using it). Stir with a candy cane. Serve hot.
