This easy black bean chili recipe is quick and easy to prepare and results in great flavors - flavorful without too much spice - thanks to the addition of red wine. It's hearty and delicious and great for a fall or winter meal!
Brown ground beef and onions in a large stockpot. Drain completely.
Add the remaining ingredients, except for black beans. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour or longer, stirring occasionally.
Stir beans into the chili and simmer until thoroughly heated.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
