  • Rinse the broccoli under cold water. Trim off the stem and cut each floret into bite-size pieces. If desired, you can also cook the stem: simply slice off any blemishes and cut into bite-size pieces.
  • Bring water to boil over high heat. Add a pinch of salt.
  • Add broccoli to boiling water. Cook for 3-4 mins until tender but firm. Pierce florets with a fork to see if it has reached your desired texture.
  • Drain broccoli using a colander.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
