OLD FASHIONED BLUEBERRY COBBLER

This simple old fashioned recipe uses fresh or frozen blueberries to make a homemade, made from scratch cobbler with a quick crumble topping.

The cobbler crust is almost as easy to put together as a cake mix recipe, but it tastes so much better!

INGREDIENTS

Fresh blueberries Brown sugar Flour Baking powder Cinnamon Salt Butter White sugar Eggs Vanilla Pecans (optional)

Mix blueberries, 4 tablespoons of brown sugar, and water in an 8-inch baking dish. Set aside.

Mix 1 cup of flour, baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

Cream together softened butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

Gradually add flour mixture, beating only until just blended.

Drop the batter mixture on top of the blueberries and smooth out as best you can.

Mix streusel topping and spread over the batter.
