JAMAICAN JERK CHICKEN SKEWERS

Chicken breast pieces are marinated overnight in a spicy sauce and then removed and grilled to juicy perfection on skewers.

Using a wet marinade means the chicken comes out sweeter, spicier, and juicier than recipes using a dry rub alone.

INGREDIENTS

Boneless skinless chicken breast Scallions Fresh garlic Fresh ginger Lime juice Soy sauce Vegetable oil Herbs & spices

Add the marinade ingredients to the bowl of a food processor.

Process until it turns into a chunky sauce with a consistency similar to runny salsa.

Slide marinated chicken onto pre-soaked skewers.

Preheat the grill and cook the skewers 5-7 minutes.

Flip the skewers and cook an additional 5-7 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165ºF.
