CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

Butter Shortening White sugar Brown sugar Eggs Vanilla Flour Instant vanilla pudding Baking soda Baking powder Salt

Cream together butter and shortening with an electric or stand mixer, until the mixture is a light and fluffy paste.

Add the sugars and blend well.

Add in eggs and vanilla. Continue mixing until these are thoroughly incorporated.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, instant pudding mix, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture a little at a time, mixing between additions until all the flour is incorporated.

Using a 1-tablespoon scoop, drop cookies onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
