Free Printable Christ-Centered Easter Basket Scavenger Hunt

Free printable Christ-Centered Easter basket scavenger hunt for Easter morning - A treasure hunt is a great way to find your Easter basket. This hunt for kids, tweens, or teens uses the main points of the Easter story of Jesus as clues. Awesome Christian fun in riddles. Great for families at home. Religious and Bible-based. Easy clues using both indoor and outdoor spots.

I didn’t know what to call this Easter basket scavenger hunt. The clues follow the basic Easter story with Jesus washing the disciples’ feet, getting arrested in the garden, being beaten and mocked, and so on. So it is Christ-centered. Even though they’re now 7 and 10, they still talk about it and look forward to their Easter morning hunt, so dropping it … Read more

10 Ways to Keep Christ in Christmas

My pastor’s sermon last week was about … Read more

I haven’t enjoyed my new baby because I’ve been so focused on how hard she’s made my life, how she’s complicated everything. Bed rest, her slow start, her serious illness, her early teething. Nothing is easy with this little baby. Yesterday, I had a revelation. I am inadequate. I’m supposed to be inadequate. We all are. I am inadequate, but He is more than enough. He created this little … Read more

Teaching Children to Give featuring The King’s Christmas List

For my entire adult life, I’ve done a lot of giving during the holiday season. Children have a special place in my heart, and my heart aches to know that some children miss the magic of Christmas. Because I am able, I give gifts to children where ever I can. Because they are organized locally and benefit children in my community, I’ve always focused my attention on giving trees and a local school’s toy drive. Last year, Grace was interested in giving gifts to other children. This year, not so much. When we go to the store, she wants to … Read more
