Father’s Day veggie dip

YUMMO! We had everyone over this afternoon for a family dinner in honor of Father’s Day. Everyone brought a piece of the meal instead of Joe and I cooking everything, but I felt strange not making anything at all. So I concocted a little cheese dip for everyone’s pleasure. I loved it. Everyone else must have liked it, too, because there’s none left. Rien. Here’s the recipe, from my creative mind to yours –

Print Recipe
Father's Day veggie dip
Servings
Ingredients
  • 1 block low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup fat free sour cream
  • 1 large cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 envelope Lipton's vegetable soup mix
  • 1 small can water chestnuts drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1 large can artichoke hearts well drained and coarsely chopped
Servings
Ingredients
  • 1 block low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup fat free sour cream
  • 1 large cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 envelope Lipton's vegetable soup mix
  • 1 small can water chestnuts drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1 large can artichoke hearts well drained and coarsely chopped
Instructions
  1. Mix everything together and chill for a few hours so that the flavors can blend.
  2. I served my cheese dip with Tomato & Basil wheat thins, whole wheat club crackers, and plain old tortilla chips. The wheat thins were the best.

Oh, yummy. And low fat! I will definitely have to try this one, maybe even as a splurge for myself!
