Crockpot beef stew

Joe made crockpot beef stew for supper last night. It was delicious, even if a little high in points. Joe and I sat down to eat, and I offered Grace sweet potatoes and corn. She refused both. On a lark, I offered Grace a small piece of potato out of my stew. She gobbled it down. Same with a piece of carrot. I even gave her some of the roast beef, and she ate it all hungrily. By the end of the meal, Grace had eaten half of a cup of beef stew. I guess that was her way of saying that she’s now moved on to grown-up food. Here’s the recipe for Joe’s yummy stew, in case you’re interested –

  1. Mmmm… that’s just what we need in our house. Baby-friendly adult meals! Unfortunately, it’s a little warm for stew in our parts these days. Sounds yummy though!

Hey, Tara, did you add the word verification because you got spambot comments, or just for fun? I’ve been curious if I can take it off of mine — somehow I feel like I’m deluding myself to think I get enough traffic for a bot to find me!
