State of the Blog – 2014

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
See all the crooked letters? That's all my handiwork, on the wall in my living room.
And I love it thank you very much.

New Year's Day was just a week ago, so I wanted to give you an update on where things are here at Feels Like Home.

2014 was a big year for the blog with posts reaching more people than ever before – 866,314 unique visitors generating 1.9 million page views {more than double 2013}.

I am in awe. Of God's goodness. Of all the people who come to my little corner of the internet to learn, to share, to be encouraged. I hope I am good enough. It's a big task when I think of it in these terms. Too big for me, in fact, and my only explanation is that I am not good enough, but God is good enough.

As in years past, readers came from all over the world.

Only 1 from Iran, Burundi, and Gabon {hello, friends}, 2 from Saint Pierre and Miquelon {had to look that up on an atlas}, Tuvalu, Vatican City, and Kiribati {another for the map}, and thousands from Mexico, Turkey, Spain, and South Africa {Jesse Tree in Afrikaans and in Spanish coming in 2015!}. Nobody from Cuba this year, but 2015 is a possibility!
