I wrote last week about random acts of kindness. The post that follows could be added to that list – look for products and companies that give back as a matter of everyday business.
More than 16 million American children live in poverty. For these kids, access to nutritious foods can be a big challenge. A nutritious, balanced diet that includes healthy meals helps equip kids to succeed both academically and socially.
That’s why I am joining The Motherhood, Champions for Kids, Tyson Foods, Kraft, and Sam’s Club to spread the word about hunger relief.
Champions for Kids makes it simple to give children in your local communities the resources they need to thrive. Over 202,000 volunteers work with Champions for Kids across all fifty states, serving meals to more than 3.8 million hungry kids.
The core values of Champions for Kids are simple, yet profound, and drive their effort to “mobilize millions” to help children.
All children should have:
- Someone who cares
- a Place to belong
- Hope for tomorrow and
- Provisions for their journey.
All this month, you can be a Hunger Hero at Sam’s Club by purchasing any of these products:
- Tyson® Fully Cooked Chicken Nuggets 5 lb. bag
- KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner 7.25 oz. 12 pack
- CAPRI SUN Juice Drink Variety Pack – 40 pouches
When you do, you’ll help to feed a child in need through the Champions for Kids program.
By supporting companies that support the community, you’re part of the solution.
I participated in this program on behalf of Champions for Kids and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
