Allie and the Television

I try to get little snippets of video of both of my kids. Hugging the cat, singing a song, dancing in their underwear. It's the little moments that we remember, right?

Both of my kids are sick. They've been passing germs back and forth between the two of them and with the other kids at our weekly Bible study.

I feel like I've been cleaning up vomit and taking temperatures and administering medicine for weeks.

I'm thankful that the weather is warm. The windows and doors can be open, and the house does not smell like stale vomit.

Because the girls have been sick, they've gotten to watch a lot more television than normal.

In this video, Allie is naked because she'd just thrown up all over her outfit. She's 14 months old, and she was trying to ask me to turn Little House on the Prairie back on. (I'd paused it to take a video of her.)
