This Saturday, we’re having another birthday party. The first birthday party (this past weekend) was for Grace’s grandparents and our adult friends. The party this coming weekend is for Grace’s friends and their parents.
We’re not a two birthday party kind of family, by the way.
This was the first time that Grace has ever asked to invite her friends to her birthday, so I obliged.
I’m going to post all about the birthday party in the days ahead, but I wanted to share the activity I’m most excited about now.
Earlier this year, Wilton sent me an amazing box of their brand new party products. They were the same decorating supplies that we used to make snow candy and we’ve used them to decorate countless cakes and cupcakes in the time since.
At Grace’s party this weekend, I’m going to help 8 two to four year old people decorate cupcakes with these supplies.
How fun is that?
I love that the line includes everything from the very girly (a princess theme)
to rather masculine (cars and trucks)
and everything in between (animals, dots, and a circus theme).
Because we’re having a mix of boys and girls at the party, I’m going to bring all of them along.
The kids will love it!
Wilton Party Products Giveaway
Wilton offered to give one lucky Feels like Home reader the same amazing box of goodies that I received (valued at $180!).
To enter: Visit Wilton’s line of new party products and choose your favorite. Come back here and report it in the comments. US residents only.
Good luck! I’ll use Random.org to choose a winner some time after 11:59 pm on June 9, 2010. The winner was comment #26, Juli. Congratulations!
I received the decorating supplies above in order to evaluate before posting. Wilton is also providing the giveaway.
