Last year, on Mother's Day, several well-meaning relatives made a point of telling me I wasn't a mom yet. (Bitterness? What bitterness?) I felt otherwise, especially since I had 36 weeks or so of severe morning sickness to prove my point.
This year, however, there is no doubt that I'm a momma. To that end, I gave my darling husband a short list of items I might like to get for Mother's Day. (One item can be a short list, right?) You know what he said, to my surprise?
Go ahead and get it, if that's what you want.
It's probably cheating, but I'm going to give you a sneak peak of my present. (Joe said it was okay.)
Of course, mine is going to have a G, J, and T inside, with a ruby heart (my birthstone, since it's my heart).
I can't wait until it arrives!
You'll know when it does; I'll post pictures.
And a scrapbook layout.
And a post in which I gush how gorgeous it is.
