Fight for Your Marriage

A few months ago, I stumbled upon Mindy says. Mindy’s husband is an internet pastor, and she writes a blog. The first thing I noticed was her series called The Fight is On. As I explored her articles, I realized that I agreed with most of Mindy’s thoughts.

This week, Mindy is asking her readers to blog about their own strategies for fighting to keep their marriages strong. The strategy I’m working on right now is fighting using secrets. (That sounds counterintuitive, but Mindy explains it here.) and I’m the worst secret keeper in the world, but I see that having special “secrets” between a husband and wife would strengthen that bond.

My own strategy is fight with fun. In order for my husband and I to feel connected, we need to do fun things together, like going to a museum or out for ice cream or mini golfing. We’re looking forward to lots of fun time with Gracie Anna, too.

I chuckled when I saw it, because I was already thinking of this topic for next week’s post! Great minds think alike! LOL 🙂

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    Blessings,

    Mindy
