The lump, continued

The vet doesn't know what the lump is. He said that it could be an abscess from a tussle with one of the other kitties, a benign tumor, or cancer. I'm supposed to give Sam an antibiotic twice a day for the next three weeks. If the lump shrinks, it was an abscess. If it doesn't shrink or grow, it is a benign tumor. If it grows, it's cancer.

I think God is speaking to me here about my patience (again!). This is totally a non-resolution, but the best the vet could do without subjecting Sammy to some serious and invasive tests. Waiting it out is going to be very difficult for me, but what choice do I have?
